Just commissioned a custom cross stitch pattern for John Boyega. I don’t often make gifts for people at cons, but I love that dude so I want to do something cute.
Wicked is next for them, and it’s going to be *insane*, but it’s going to be so fun to see that excitement again.

At least going in.
And like, I’ve only been at the cinema two months, but there’s been so much for “boys”, but this is the first thing aimed at young girls. The lads don’t really care anymore, because they have everything. Girls really don’t get that, so no wonder they’re so happy when they do.
I’ll be honest, I was sick to death of it having the trailer on a loop, loudly in our foyer for the past two months, but when you see how happy it made those little girls? When so many of them said it was the “best film ever” and were just giggling and bouncing happily? Yeah, that’s what matters.
The Gabby’s Dollhouse movie came out this week, and I remember when the trailer came out, there were A LOT of men mad about it for some reason.

Anyway, I worked my first shift with it showing today, and the joy I saw on the faces of the girls coming out of that film? Indescribable.
I have been begging for Sinister since before half these kids were alive. I shrieked at that Apocalypse post-credit scene. I’m not gonna sit there and let people tell me I don’t get one of my favourite villains because I want the pretty actor. Also all your picks are American, no thank you!
I love the amount of men laughing at me for suggesting Tom Ellis as Mr Sinister, because I clearly don’t know anything about the character. No, you’re right, the gorgeous man who played Lucifer is a horrible fit for the guy who had his own Victorian London populated entirely with clones of himself.
Why didn’t people like Moon Knight? It’s SO good, even second time round. I’ve not reached the utter emotional torment of the asylum episode again yet, but I’m having such a good time. Along with Loki, it’s probably my fave show.
I hope betting shops do close, I hope the companies do suffer, I am still recovering from working in one of those hellscapes. They’ll speak out happily about the money they’ll lose, but they never talk about the way their staff were treated or the way their customers get hurt. Absolute bastards.

Wild that Betfred think this will drum up sympathy

Sorry people who lose their jobs, but frankly they can shut down all of their stores and I wouldn't give a shit

No empathy for companies who vacuum money out of the pockets of vulnerable people without paying back in

Betfred says all its shops may close if Reeves hikes gambling tax
The company's co-founder says it would be forced to close all its sites, putting 7,500 jobs at risk, if gambling taxes go up.

Rewatching Moon Knight, just because and I would die for Steven, and Marc, and Layla.

I’m only five minutes in again, but I just LOVE them all.
I can confirm, as if there were any doubt, that Indy is a very Good Boy.

A great choice for my 250th film of the year.
Scuzz, Beast and the Harlot, saw The Rev twirling the drumsticks and thought “oh he’s pretty!” And something about the music just grabbed me and had never let me go. I remember it vividly!
All my favourite music channels have been turned off in the UK now. I discovered my favourite band through a music channel, and now I’ve seen those guys 18 times since 2008.

I did not discover them through MTV, as I genuinely cannot remember the last time I saw a music video on there.
It’s not a spoiler to say that you are going to see a thousand thirst posts about these gloves. It is simply “I know fandom”.
Motherfucker.

I absolutely loved this. Truly beautiful and emotional. The romantic elements didn’t quite click for me, but everything else was just utterly gorgeous. Jacob Elordi, I will get you that Oscar.

And if I don’t, then you’ll always have what you created with our fave Oscar.
Seeing Del Toro’s Frankenstein tonight. I’m really looking forward to this one, because if anyone can capture the gothic romance, he can.

An easy way to make another Tron film without Leto. Simply claim that he heard Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield and it *literally* blew his mind.

In the film, the first time he experiences ~humanity is feeling the rain on his skin. I don’t consider this a spoiler, as I don’t think anyone cares.
I wear my heart on my sleeve, with Chucky and Tiffany inside it. They’re a bit mad and cheesy, but I bloody love them.

Still don’t like the third one though.
Oh, absolutely agree. Hell, look at the performance he got out of Marlon Wayans in that.
I will say there was a very brief cameo of one of my favourite Canadian actresses, which made me giggle and twirl my hair, but it was not worth it.
So, I saw Tron Ares.

I didn’t pay for it and I want my money back.
