Trump is a poor man’s idea of wealth, an ignorant man’s idea of greatness, and a weak man’s idea of strength. When he burns the country to the ground (again), when its economy collapses (again), brought down by his incompetence (again)—laugh in their MAGAt faces #Talibamicans

It’s important to note from a military perspective that if a subordinate is about to give an unlawful order & his senior knows about it, it’s also a requirement for the senior official to stop him from executing it. And then counsel/discipline him.

So there’s that, too.

Now juxtapose Hegseth's vile little cartoon with this line from the Post report on the latest horror:

"If the video of the blast that killed the two survivors on Sept. 2 were made public, people would be horrified, said one person who watched the live feed."
Imagine being a career officer in the chain of command on Trump's boat bombings. You have deep moral and legal concerns about them. Your faith in leadership is shaky. Then you see Pete Hegseth tweet out a sadistic cartoon about it. Must be awful.

Thoughts on this:

Thank you for making this connection, AG. I too thought about that asylum deal when Hernandez was pardoned.

It seems increasingly clear that the regime is openly fighting a drug war on behalf of the Sinoloa cartel.
Remember in May when Trump gave asylum to 17 family members of the Sinaloa cartel after making a deal with El Chapo’s son? And did you know in 2013, El Chapo bribed Juan Hernandez- who trump just pardoned - in exchange for protection in Honduras? I’m sure it’s all just a coincidence.

Canada is not a perfect country, and there is a thin line between pride and nationalism. That said, I’m proud that we remain belligerent little wolverines against the fascist freak show going on down south. We’re as pissed as we were on day one. Except parts of Alberta, idk what they’re on about.
