Got this Instagram stories ad and because I don't see any examples of whatever ucpac is doing, can't help but think of the Willy Wonka "experience"...

"hard left disruptors."

Or just give a crap about people?

And want things to be affordable.

the bullish A.i. people are annoying not just bc they're championing a stupid and bad technology but bc of all of the logical failures they make extrapolating on what they think A.i. will become.

It's absolutely WILD how routinely self-avowed superfans of hard science and modern technology IMMEDIATELY default to magical thinking, and don't consider that a red flag at all.

"Excited to see what CHatGPT thinks about-" IT DOESN'T THINK!!! It's not a mind!

Thats why I have rooted myself firmly in 3rd edtion.

Its pretty much the only system I play consistently these days.

Platoons we're the GOAT, no doubt about it.
Also, those are magnificent armies, my word!

and either unlearn everything they've known or become more deeply entrenched in the movement they were raised in. Regardless homeschooling is not meant for the success of its students but for parents to further ownership of their own children so they will be beholden to their parents for life. (4/4)

The entire movement is rotten to its core and serves little other purpose than to produce deeply traumatized individuals who are partly or wholly unprepared for the real world who often come to a point where they have to confront that fact, (3/4)

So, they took matters into their own hands to do their own form of radicalizing indoctrination. That is a large portion of why I was homeschooled. and was the expressed reason why many of my friends growing up were also homeschooled. To pretend otherwise is pure naivete. (2/4)
There's some people who need homeschooling because the state cannot provide for their needs, usually disabled kids, but yeah, by and large homeschooling is a way for abusive parents to control their children.

I mean, this is not only explicitly why parents choose to homeschool their kids, but is the exact reason homeschooling got started as a movement. It was evangelical parents who didn't want their kids "indoctrinated" by the American school system. (1/3)
Truly sinister!

The biggest thing i've learned as an artist who sells prints and merch is don't make what people ask for. They won't buy it. Make what you, the artist, want to see printed on the support of ur choice.
I can't explain why but THAT'S what will sell. People who buy the most are the silent ones. 🫶
Remember, artists: when people say, “I’d buy a print of this,” they don’t mean it. That sentence itself is just a weird compliment that rarely converts to an actual print sale. It’s like if someone ate a very good hot dog and then said, “I could eat 10,000 of these right now.”

I can't even tell you how many of my sales have been the "Rean It's Wednesday" mugs and prints despite it not being one of the "popular" fandoms lol
