James Talarico is incredibly skilled in dismantling Christian Nationalists.

Get this man in the Senate.

Medicare for All would save $450B a year.

Every dollar spent on food stamps generates $1.50-$1.80 in economic activity.

Each dollar going to low-wage workers adds $1.20 to the economy overall.

It’s not about what this country can or can’t afford.

It’s about priorities.

Cruel. Callous. Cowardly.

The public are seeing this Labour government for exactly who they are.

We all have a responsibility to make them pay at the ballot box.

Reject the hate. Reject them.

This is not who we are. Let's make hope normal again.

New Labour policy just dropped:

"We will..."

*spins wheel*

"...steal jewellery from migrants,

in order to..."

*spins wheel*

"... out-Farage Farage."
Listening to Steve Reed explain on the radio today that he can't say what Mahmood's plan means for kids of people who give birth after they've been granted asylum because that's a hypothetical Q govt can't be expected to answer right now made me think these reforms are going to unravel quite fast

Just joined the @greenparty.org.uk.
Finally. Real progressive politics. Real positivity. Real principles.

Now we can choose to vote and campaign with a conscience, instead of the lesser of two evils.

Funny how when Starmer's ministers get into a position of authority, all the things they said could be done to fix the problems, now can't be done.

The only option is to sell their souls to the far right. Great job, Shabana, great job.

Amazed at the score line between Wales and Japan. By every metric Japan are playing better than us.

Those at the WRU should hang their heads in shame they've let us fall to this standard.

Bang, and the policy is gone.

Weaponising fiscal drag is easily the stupidest idea put forward for this budget. It's a guaranteed vote loser when people on or around £40-£50k all of a sudden are paying even more tax.

Tax wealth and assets. Raise capital gains. Tax billionaires and millionaires. Tax banking bonuses.

Remember when he was in opposition holding CEOs of the Post Office and others feet to the fire in select committees?

Then he got into power, stopped doing the good stuff he did before, and now he's soiling himself that someone with better principles is taking both his schtick and his seat?

Can you imagine any of the other current leaders doing this coherently and actually managing to make people laugh at the same time?
I can't.

Once every 20 years or so, the director-general of the BBC is forced to resign for being insufficiently rightwing. Alastair Milne in 1987. Greg Dyke in 2004. Tim Davie in 2025. The great irony is that the BBC was in all cases profoundly biased towards established power. But just not biased enough …

Tim Davie resigning from the BBC over the edited Trump video is like Al Capone being jailed for tax evasion: sometimes the right thing happens for the wrong reason.

Tim Davie (very right-wing) resigning is a good thing.

He's done it now cos his BBC has offended his Dear Leader. Davie cared more about Trump's opinion than anyone else's, especially the British public.

He was a biased DG, but not towards the way the loudest voices think.
NEW: Tim Davie resignation email to staff.

Zack Polanski’s response to the Manchester terror attack has been a masterclass in mature statesmanship.

Soulful, human, eloquent, empathetic, nuanced, confident and focused on healing.

And bold. It has shone in contrast to so much weaponising or ill thought through commentary.

Thank you Zack. 💪

Trying desperately to enjoy Season 4 of The Bear.

Got to a scene with Jamie Lee Curtis's character is a realtor & Uncle wishing is son would kick him in the nuts, both scenes playing concurrently, then cut to commercial. Zero payoff.

Feels like it's written by someone who doesn't want it watched.
