Great post... Time to learn to duck and cover again! Children of the 80s know well the fear of nuclear war. These days I am afraid we are perilously close to a global conflict.
My father was a leader in the defense industry & we had a bug-out plan to head to Colorado if things went south, LOL

Worth noting is missing item 4, which everyone except Longhorns neglects to bring up: they are mentioned in our fight song. This is the rivalry. Not Alabama. Not Georgia. Not anyone else in the SEC. We want our Thanksgiving backyard game with our brothers & cousins back. 🤘🏻
