The World Record Making Tracks model railway came to the Vale of Rheidol Rly, and I got to be an operator for a day! Controlling the full 200ft line was an incredible, unforgettable experience. The Gretton & Wenlock Railway (O-16.5 gauge) is a charming freelance Shropshire narrow gauge branch line set in the late 1940s/early 1950s. It features a great mix of passenger and goods traffic, including a timber merchant's yard! #ModelRailway #NarrowGauge #O165Gauge

Rumbling Bridge (OO Gauge) by Nick Skelton. This charming Scottish through station on the former Devon Valley Railway is set just before its closure in the 1960s, featuring scenic bridges and working semaphore signals! #ModelRailway #OOGauge #ScottishRailways #ModelTrains

The difference almost 5 years makes! This is my original that started it all, and now it's had an update! The new one will be out early next week and also at the Waley At Statfold show this weekend. The sales of the kits there will go towards restoring the Glyn Valley Tramway! 😁

Hergest (OO and OO9 gauge) by Peter Cullen. A charming layout set in the Autumn of 1947, depicting a small station where the GWR standard gauge line met an ex-Glyn Valley Tramway narrow gauge line, serving as an interchange for goods 🚂🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 #ModelRailway #OOGauge #NarrowGauge #ModelTrains

Bristol Avon Bridge (EM Gauge) by Keith Sully is an instantly recognisable layout capturing the atmosphere of Bristol Temple Meads in the late 1970s. Look out for the incredible laser-cut overall roof! Seen recently at the Bristol Model Railway Exhibition 🚈 #ModelRailway #EMGauge #ModelTrains

Gary Atkinson's Woodhead N gauge layout at the Bristol Model Railway Exhibition was stunning! It perfectly recreates the iconic 1960s route, complete with impressive overhead electric catenary powering EM1/EM2 locos hauling trains through the dramatic Longdendale Valley #ModelRailway #NGauge

Richard Holder's incredible Tan-y-bwlch layout at the Bristol Model Railway Exhibition! This beautiful OO9 gauge model perfectly captures the atmosphere and operating practices of the Ffestiniog Railway during its busy 'Bygones Weekends'. A true narrow gauge masterpiece! #NarrowGauge

Alderford, an impressive OO gauge layout by Carl Bowden, was a highlight at the Bristol Model Railway Exhibition. Inspired by the late '80s North West electrified lines, it features a busy terminus, working pantographs, and realistic sound. #ModelRailway #OOGauge #BristolModelRailwayExhibition

Karen snapped up this pair of useful oak frames for me at the weekend. I’ve only just had a chance to look at them and… 😳 wait-what!

I’m guessing these photos of the Viaduct at Quakers Yard originally hung in the construction company’s offices or similar.
