A frosty morning out in the Fens, energy and motivation is back. I love the feeling of tingling fingers, nose and toes from the cold and the burn on the cheeks #gravelbiking #cyclingformentalhealth

A day out in the Brecks, cycling, chilling barefoot walking, just what I needed. Slowly my energy is returning after months of chronic fatigue. The brecks looks amazing in Autumn #cyclingformentalhealth #gravelbiking #brecks

A wee 20 miler, how the landscape has changed over night, from autumn to winterish. One nights heavy rain knocked most leaves of the trees. A chill in the air, I'm hoping for a frosty winter. #gravelbiking #cyclingformentalhealth #justgetoutside

Chestnuts a great source of protein. And it's a bumper year for them. I love foraging it gets you away from the shops and in to nature for your food, which is good for you mentally and physically #foraging #nature #mentalhealth

On two wheels, I find my peace, through winding roads where worries cease. Each turn of the crank, a breath of relief, as mountains and valleys help heal my grief. The rhythm of the ride is a soothing balm, in the heart of adventure, I find my calm. #cyclingformentalhealth

The autumn leaves rustle and the brittle wind blown branches snap beneath my tyres,

The low sun created a golden glow warming the freshly ploughed fields, as moisture rises, giving a low mist,

The smell of decay as this years leaves decompose to feed next years emerald green leaves.

Woodland is such a healing place, I don't know what's happening but this year has been a struggle.

A couple of photos from my big trip, after the Old Chalk Way I cycled to Lands End with the hopes of reaching John OGroats but I had to quit due to getting Gastroenteritis at Chepstow, this floored me and took any will I had left. 750 miles in total.

The highlight of my Old chalk way trip, Meeting my long term friend Charlie, another cycler we've known each other years. But rarely get to meet.

The old Chalk way, a great off road route, which I highly recommend. The weather wasn't so kind and we had a lot of heavy rain, but I didn't mind, it did however make the chalk like a ice rink.

Cambridge to London gravel route.. Wildcamping, in a woodland, whispering, so not to be discovered, listening to all the woodland noises. Magical.

Lama Ranch- A couple who have built cabins for cyclists and walkers to stay in free of charge. There is two bottles of wine in each cabin, beds, electric showers, a fridge on the porch filled with cold beer and soft drinks and sandwiches. All they ask is pay it forward, such kind people.

Platoro-Colorado, an old gold mining settlement, We stayed in a dilapidated hut, but in side it was warm and cosy just what we needed after being caught out in a storm. The gold mine above Platoro is a mega fund site, meaning it is so polluted it takes national intervention, not state.

Leaving Hatchita heading for the US Mexico border, the official end of the Tour Divide, up early for a 45 mile easy cycle all on a quiet road through the Chihuahua desert. It was a strange feeling for such a long adventure to come to an end, almost an anti-climax.

Beaverhead our last wild camp- heading to Silver city where we treated ourselves to a room at art deco hotel, Silver city had such a hippy vibe and we spent three days there. - New Mexico
