I’m a boomer; my dad was in Europe. He told no war stories, but he would talk for hours about why it happened. He was a life-long Democrat, & prayed we’d never see fascism here. He didn’t, yet here we are.💁🏻

So US DOJ condones out-of-court settlements that any other country would call extortion?
(Distressing when there are so many other issues that YT could be accused of but will never come to court in America?)

Once upon a time, Republicans loved the Constitution & democracy. They lived much closer to reality, economic justice, & the rule of law. Decades later came Reagan w/the “trickle down” lie. A few more, & it was Karl Rove, who recruited the extreme fringe right wing racial, & religious bigots.
