OK uhh quick intro post since I'm new hi hello! I'm Cupcake! I'm a canadian artist majoring in character design/illustration at uni, gonna try out posting stuff here and see how it goes :) here's some stuff I've done! Hoping I can find some cool people here :D #characterdesign #art #artist #comic

A one-page comic depicting an alternate version of the classic tale of Little Red Riding Hood, in which a bully takes away a small red wolf pup from Red.

The first 3 panels at the top depict her screaming at him: "Hey!! Give it back! It's mine! I said give it ba-!!", before he shoves her down. The fourth shows a POV from behind some trees, showing some mysterious creatures watching as the bully looms over Red.

He laughs at her in the 5th panel, still holding the wolf pup, but stops in the 6th as he cut off by an ominous howl that crosses over both panels.

The final panel depicts Red, regaining her composure and staring the bully down as a pack of wolf-like spirits emerge from the woods. She says "I said...give it back."

I cannot recommend you enough to install the Wikipedia app on your devices and use it like you would any search engine. Nowadays they even have tabs so you can open many articles at once.

And, if you can, please donate to the foundation. It has survived the internet enshittification that way.

It doesn’t make more aggressive forms of protest and resistance less effective. It makes them more effective. It can raise public tolerance for protest, introduces new people to acts of resistance, and lay the groundwork for larger networks of solidarity.

Not a shitpost: #NoKings is feel-good performative activism for comfortable mostly upper and upper middle class white folks and that’s good, actually. Millions of people in the streets protesting a fascist regime is good. It is good for the normie baseline to be massive displays of public dissent.

When I was in university we only had to go through naming bones in a skeleton once, for an assignment in an anatomy class. The rest of my five years in that school we were always encouraged to draw from observation. Because that is far more important and will help you improve !!
