So, it would be good if state funded pensions were anywhere near the minimum wage level (like Europe!)?
Let's face it we 'old folks' have paid our dues over 35/40 years into the pot. I've still got 2 and a half years to go. Whoopee 😡

Given that the BBC endlessly gives platforms to lobbyists from the dark money junktanks without revealing their interests, shouldn't we be seeing such apologies every day?

Better still, how about not doing it? If they want to appear, we should know on whose behalf they are speaking.

If people in Scottish constituencies are going to vote in unionist parties they should at least have enough principles to refuse free prescriptions, eye tests, tuition fees, personal care, etc, etc. otherwise that choice seems very hypocritical.

The Covid Inquiry report doesn't offer any surprises. The huge mistakes made were knowable at the time and repeatedly warned against by many of us.

And in relation to preparing for the burden of post viral chronic disease, I don’t think we’re in any better position with a future pandemic.

I’d point out that the Iraq report was instantly binned and never referred to again; that nobody is in prison for the Hillsborough disaster or for *soldiers literally gunning down civilians in the street*, and that there are no notable calls to exact consequences on Boris Johnson. This is standard.

The UK political system is corrupt.

Political donations enable corporations/rich to buy parties, hand consultancies to legislators.

Normal people are disillusioned, increasingly don't register to vote or vote.

How will the govt cleanse the system?

Watch the Minister's reply.

Alan Bates agrees multi-million-pound payout over Post Office scandal.

Great news. All victims deserve a just settlement.

No contribution to compensation made by the Post Office, its execs; Fujitsu, lawyers, accountants, advisers.

No one prosecuted for hounding innocent people. Will they ever be?

As usual, BBC lies about the SNP and then later issues a 'correction' that no one sees. Cancel your license. These traitors to Scotland do not deserve your support.
🚨The BBC has issued a correction after copying an anti-SNP press release from the Scottish Tories almost word for word

So GB Energy has been instructed to start scouting for Scottish sites for new nuclear power stations to meet England's needs.
Torness and Hunterston are named. Torness already causes problems because of cracks in the structure, and Dounreay continues to produce a pollution problem in the locality 👇
⚡ Scotland already has the capacity to produce more electricity than it needs - yet Westminster wants to turn our countryside into a nuclear export zone for England.

In light of Labour's Ed Milliband stating he would invite nuke companies to Scotland if Labour win in GE2026, it's worth remembering that planning for nuclear dumping was one of the powers stripped from Scotland by Westminster's Powergrab. Where do *you* think they'll want to put it?
