Axiomatic cliché doing rounds in tech/ industrial policy: the #US innovates, China #imitates and #Europe regulates. A lazy cliché, given Europe is capable of out-innovating US (Boeing v. Airbus), #regulation can drive #innovation (sometimes) and Chinese innovation could reduce costs for all.
