It's OK to feel more comfortable not using the "good paper" & the "good pens", if it helps you to create. There is no shame in not using expensive art supplies.
Getting a good knowledge of your basics is what makes you become a better artist, eventually, not the supplies you use. #arttalk #arttip

Been playing some more of Code Vein II & so far, I still like playing it but somehow I wish I wouldn't have replayed the first game so recently again.
It's just confusing as hell to me, with how things work there in general compared to CVI, still enjoyable, imo #gaming #videogames

My experience in Code Vein II so far (spoiler free):
-getting lost while exploring
-picking up crafting materials
-dying while exploring
-dying in combat
-dying in boss fights (a lot, for various reasons)
-changing my character's appearance
But, I still like it, anyway (for now) #gaming #videogames

Played Code Vein I, assuming I could train my muscle memory for the sequel.

Code Vein II be like: "Wait, you didn’t actually think....hahaha NO!"

When shading, try to keep in mind that shadows, most of the time, are not black. Using a darker shade of the color you want to put a shadow on will make the transition look much smoother.
Also, you can try using the complementary color of the base one to apply shadows. #art #arttip #beginnerarttip

The artwork shows a penguin in front view, who is wearing a red scarf around it’s neck. The dark part of the animal’s feathers is shaded with gray and blue. The penguin’s eyes, which are shaped like a small, lying oval, are brown and it looks to bottom left. The mall, slightly triangular beak is colored in gray. The red scarf is warped around the neck twice and has a triangular tip hanging down to the middle of the animal’s body. The wings are hanging down at both sides and the feet, that have three little tips are dark brown. Between and below them, there is a hint of shadow, done with black ink which has been smeared with water The drawing was done on slightly yellowish paper and has no background.

The plants on the left of it are two green four leaved clovers, on the right there is a yellow flower with a round blue center and roundish blossom leaves. A bit below that grows a flower that is smaller, red-violet and has orange-yellow center. The ladybug, shown in front view has a happy expression on its face. The artwork was drawn on white paper and has no background, but there are hints of leaves and taller grass between the stems of the four plants.

A very curious mushroom....

Fox in a festive mood

A gingerbread man too cute to eat..or not?

On the writing challenge goes, last it was only three days time to reach the needed points. For bonus points, the task was to write a Haiku, so here is the one I wrote:

A cake-pop in Halloween style

Comic style, colored ink drawing of a cake-pop, as it could be baked for a Halloween party. The round do is dark violet, but most of it is covered by a sugar coating that looks a bit like green slime, that was spilled over it. The coating and the dough part both, are decorated with large, shiny sugar pearls in the colors black, red and orange. The stick the dough ball sits on is of dark brown color and the image background has been left blank, so you can see just the gray of the paper.

Halloween is just around the corner, here's something for the mood

If you can't or don't wish to spend lots of money on high quality colored pencil sets, try to get some decent drawing paper & a blender pencil along with the cheaper colors. This would cost less than those artist sets though give you some, at least decent, results still. #art #traditionala[...]
