10 hour shifts on my feet back and forth.
Up at 4-6am in bed around 10-12 every night.

I get a solid 3 to 4 miles in on my off days.

My 60 year old neighbor used to get 45k steps a day. Woman was an inspiration. Could throw fire wood faster then I could.
Just a lil ol lady.

We've been over this
I walk 9 miles 4 days a week and throw fire wood and pick up my dogs

I weigh like a buck 50 soaking wet, and I keep a soft sculpt

I keep busy. Peace is boring
Boring is predictable.
Predictable is good.
The devil tempts idle hands, and lord keeps you till your work is done

On your employer and how much money you have available over your minimum budget.
Young wifey and I lived on tip wages and fixed incomes.
If you want to get more into this, dm me we can talk more specifics

This functions as a micro savings. I use it for treats and unexpected stuff like medicine or to help cover a bill if I screwed the pooch at some point with my spending.

This is the most basic advice to create a safety net and create a semi stable fincial platform to grow on. Other advice depends

My personal tax strategy is overpayment every check. I get less each week, and more back at tax season. This functions as a short term savings account, that I cant touch but is waiting for me on a regular schedule.

Next I use wallets. They just draft my account x dollars a payperiod.

This gives us the most realistic look at our finances.

You have to make this amount cover the most important expenses when you budget. After taxes. Ill touch more on that later.

This is the bare minimum and anything over this you can leverage to improve your safety nets. Its rough when your young

Add your wages over the shortest month. If your weekly sometimes you have an extra check depending on when your payday hit. Find the month with the LEAST payday.
Establish your budget.
Assume your gonna have less hours. I budget on an assumed 35 hour week instead of my normal 40.
crittycent.bsky.social
Well first step sucks.
Be honest with your wages.
What are your mandatories by priority.
Rent/shelter is always top.
Veichle fuel. [Gotta work]
Utilities water/electric/heating.
Bills. Car payments, cell phones, internet connectivity options etc.
Food.
Impulse spending.

Yes.
But I have put them down.
I crave the content.
I crave the adrenaline.
The uncertainty.
Not gonna do it.

But its important to be honest with yourself when in recovery.
The feelings are my body itching for a fix.
Its the lifestyle that went with it,
It was faster.
Peace is slow.
Good
