you should be a-ok on there tagging characters in general as pixiv is a pretty quiet place that most folks only use as a gallery
comments are few n far between there vs social med

tagged that weren’t in the post

sometimes tho you will get people leaving hate comments or being stinky bc they dislike the character or ship no matter what

thankfully tho that’s been a rare occurrence (sakura bashing is everywhere so when i experienced it once on pixiv it was nothing new)—

in my experience nobody seems to mind characters being tagged by name if they’re in the picture, this includes when it’s a ship picture

the only time it has appeared to be an issue for others (my stuff never got enough traction for folks to care) was if a ship wasn’t tagged or if characters were
