Gameplay wise, once I learned the drive system, it was nothing but fun. Huge upgrade from 1

Lore comp wise, I am still keeping up with it. A few moments had be confused, but it all ties together in a genuinely beautiful plot. New lore is delivered relatively well.

I loved #EldenRing and Shadow of the Erdtree was a phenomenal DLC in terms of scope and content, but I’m pretty against the decision to allow it to count as a “game” for the Game Awards. Yes, it has more content than some standalone games, but it’s still essentially an add-on to a separate purchase.
