The only part of working at a university (either as faculty or staff) that I truly enjoyed were the students, though departmental office support staffs often came a close second.

Red — for reasons way too tedious to get into — is uniquely difficult to reproduce accurately on screen. Especially in full sun. I suspect that onsite the hues don’t look as similar.
