With a population of less than 100 hardy souls, there are few dining options in the tiny community of Silver Gate, Montana. Inside the Range Rider Lodge (quite apropos don’t you think?) The Royal Wulff Tavern anchors night life and dining for locals and the horde of travelers to and from Yellowstone National Park (YNP). Famished from a day of travel, hiking, and wildlife gawking, I arrived at 4:58 PM.

I think some people approach political rallies and protests with energy and excitement. It's a party, an opportunity to see friends and be seen by friends. I'm not a rah-rah kind of person. I find the requisite chants to be sophomoric and annoying. I can't bring myself to wear my group-think on my sleeve. I also don't care for the inevitable name-calling and othering that rallies produce.
