It hasn't all gone to plan for the Japanese but they've managed to get a first wave ashore on the smaller island. Can it get a foothold though?

Today's the 959th anniversary of the Battle of Hastings, so obviously I'm reposting my scenes from the Bayeux Tapestry in Playmobil.

This is the copy of the WFRP 4th edition rulebook that I used while writing the Enemy Within Director's Cut. I put a notarized statement to that effect in the front, vaguely intending to auction it for charity.
Since I was laid off, I now need the money for rent and food.
Would anyone bid on this?

Slow hobby evening but quite a bit of tidying done... Trying to get on top of the chaos of too many projects...

So... Just varnished the C17th dude. And started on the 4 Eureka Turk Pirates I picked up at Partizan.

Got going on this finally! Early air strikes have mixed success, the Japanese with the element of surprise getting the upper hand. Defensive coastal batteries get a few shots in before being silenced.

As ever, post an excellent gaming weekend, I have no idea what to do next... So I've finished the ECW dude and primed the four Eureka Turk Pirates I bought yesterday at Partizan. Hopefully a quick win while I ponder greater plans...

Off to Newark soon. Very soon. When wife returns with the rather crucial automobile...

But it did mean I had time to unpack a little parcel from @battlegames.bsky.social. The Minutemen will be providing parts for a few more C18th civilians... And maybe the Altefritzenburg militia...

I've played Midgard a few times and enjoyed it. Mostly for Punic War games. You've done a good review/overview.

I've been enjoying #Midgard tremendously so I thought I'd write up a review/summary of my thoughts on the game over at the blog. I mostly use the blog for project photos, but it's nice to stretch the writing muscles from time to time. lairofthelagomorph.com/2025/10/09/a... #spreadthelard
