Expect mostly stupid jokes tbh I also like Touhou, I draw sometimes, I recently released a game (https://corygaming.itch.io/ball-and-tiles), and I watch a lot of weird comedy shows Banner by my spouse @anniewah.bsky.social

People always try to get nerds to exercise by saying "think of it like training strength in an RPG", when what they should REALLY be saying is "according to relativity, doing a pushup is actually equivalent to bench pressing the entire Earth"
Reminder that it's currently October, and Halloween is coming up, which means it is morally advisable to draw pictures of girls in autumn themed outfits
90% of the year I'd tell you winter is my favourite season, but every October I remember fall colours and Halloween decorations and that everpresent aroma of damp fallen leaves and moss.... yeah this is absolutely the best time of year, I have to accept it
Huge pet peeve: when a music video for a song is very blatantly a bunch of other performances cut together, and the people's movements on their instruments don't line up at all with what you hear, and the singer's lips are clearly singing different words from the audio

What if I just want to quickly replay this one section here? No, too bad, you gotta watch a different video after instead. Also one of the three videos without fail will have a single digit number of views so enjoy that I guess
Youtube update is cool. I like the feature where they only give you three recommended videos at the end instead of 9, and they're placed awkwardly with a big empty space above them, and yet they somehow didn't have space to have them not overlap the timeline bar so you can't go back after finishing
Come on, you and I both know he's worried about the health of his small saltwater flatfish
You will never understand my art. Begone
I feel like a medieval peasant sent back to the stone age, I can so clearly see all the technology that should be, but I'm incapable of actually building it and I can't grasp why these other cavemen don't just put rocks in their fires to make metal tools
Picture: a large coffin, but with ventilation, an air conditioner, and instead of a mattress it's a material like a trampoline so it doesn't trap heat, some padding on top, a bunch of small pillows, and a blanket. Then you don't waste energy cooling an entire room in the summer, just yourself
Child me: "I wanna be an inventor!"
Teen me: "Physics and engineering are so advanced, it's hard to come up with anything meaningfully new"
Adult me: "Where is my climate controlled bed chamber, and my human car wash, and my electro-stimulation exercise chamber so I can work out without thinking???"
"Semicolons and dashes are a sign something may have been written by an AI" okay but I don't trust anyone who can get through a full paragraph of writing without using at least two of each. What are you even doing otherwise?
Yeah I'd appeal I think they're mistaken
Okay but even this has so much character 🥺
The speed of sound at sea level is somewhere around 350m/s, and 350*3.3 is close to 1000, so the speed of sound is roughly 1000 feet in a second or 1000 kilometres in an hour
Again, not exact, but good enough for estimation
"unit conversion is so hard"
1 metre is 3.3 feet
one hour is 3600 seconds
a kilometre in an hour is 3.3 thousand feet in 3.6 thousand seconds
cancel the thousands and a kilometre per hour is roughly a foot per second within a reasonable margin of error
Hm? You still listen to the Red Hot SHILL-i Peppers? Californication? Dani California? Under The (Golden Gate?) Bridge? No thank you, none of that pro America west coast liberal surfer bro nonsense for me. What? No I've never listened to those songs, why?
I'm gonna be honest, like 90% of the time someone posts a gif in a conversation without text I don't know what it's meant to convey
we need more inktober variants. happy minktober to the mustelid enjoyers. happy pinktober to fans of that colour. happy linktober to Zelda people. happy rinktober to hockey fans. and happy sinktober to plumbers and shipwreck enthusiasts alike
100% proboscis monkey, you're right
TELL me Breaking Bad wouldn't be a perfect 10/10 if Walt and Jesse were gibbons, and everyone else was various other primates, except Hank and Gus and Saul and Mike stayed as the original human actors
Following this reasoning I sincerely believe every movie and TV series should release with two versions; one normal one, and one in which all but like 3 of the actors are replaced with monkeys and the monkeys just jump around and scream and the humans understand them and act like it's normal
We need more Muppets adaptations of classic novels, taking cues from the Christmas Carol. Give me Muppets Lord of the Flies

First day of October is, appropriately, rainy and windy and cold, so cold I could barely drag myself out of bed this morning. FINALLY, this summer has been wretched
