Since I'm currently in a foul mood due to a crazy-net critic claiming a couple of my more twisted horror art pieces aren't dark art at all because the palette I used in them is too light, it might be time again to re-share my poems "Crazy-Net Expert" and "An Ode to Net Trolls".

Crazy-Net Expert

Crazy-net expert hates ever being proved wrong,
Creating farcical displays of fallacies
Flung at all daring to question an expertise
Crafted out of nothing but mere smoke and mirrors.

Crazy-net expert defends faulty arguments
Crowed so loud and clear from electronic rooftops.
Empty words reveal the hollowness of his thoughts,
Crackbrained notions laid bare for all the world to see.

Crazy-net expert revels in great foolishness,
Crippled by an unwarranted self-assurance,
An obdurate reliance upon a weak mind
Crowded full of idiotic absurdities.

Crazy-net expert fails to be believable —
Credibility crumbles beneath the vast weight
Of varied cerebral shortcomings and shortfalls,
Critical deficiencies in mental fitness.

Common folk beware the crazy-net expert,
For he’s an insufferable know-it-all
Who truly knows nothing
At all.

An Ode to Net Trolls

Lurking in basement lairs,
Sitting before glowing screens,
Hiding from the real world,
Net trolls fling their muck
Muddying electronic discourse.

Pounding plastic keys,
Posting insulting jabs,
Gaslighting the unwary,
Net trolls spew their hate,
Spreading online misery.

Vomiting vile vitriol,
Pushing fallacious arguments,
Reveling in crude toxicity,
Net trolls attack their targets,
Bullying chosen victims.

Oh, pestering net trolls,
What childhood traumas,
Emotional deficiencies,
Or mental dysfunctions,
Turned you into such sad sadists?

In spite of the whys and wherefores,
Regardless of their offensives,
Notwithstanding their provocations,
Let us pity the poor net trolls
For being the pathetic wretches they are.

A member of Bob’s family is getting married next year, and asked if I could make the veil. We bought the veil, I’ll make the hair accessories, based on this hair decor I made for a costume.

I used to do more fashion design sketching, and I make jewelry, so I drew out some designs.

A colour photograph of a decorated hair comb that has four purple and green double shot taffeta rosettes with steampunk style button centers, with silk rose leaves and small clusters of white fabric flowers around the rosettes. There are long curved wires with beads set along the wire and hanging from the ends set around the rosettes so they stand up when the comb is worn.
Digital lettering underneath says “Hair comb design by Laura Mellin Atelier”, and beneath that, in smaller lettering, “it lights up!”.
The flowers are wired with battery-operated purple led lights. This is part of a steampunk 1880s costume that all lights up.
