So glad I dumped Spotify when I did. It's had such a minimal impact on my life to use other services and I get the peace of mind of knowing the artists get more of my money.
I'm really glad I put time in to learn some key Japanese phrases before visiting Tokyo. There were times when I needed to translate something, but I would always type into my translation app instead of shoving a phone in someone's face.
Wishing you luck, not that you need it!
In Borderlands 2 Krieg's buzz axe is listed as a pistol from the manufacturer Bandit in the code. This means that items that increase fire rate with pistols or Bandit gear in the game will also increase the rate of Krieg's buzz axe.
15. What piece of obscure gaming trivia do you know?
This is the first I'm hearing of it. They look tasty though!
Do any of my retro gaming folks on here have recommendations for where to get 3rd party shells for N64 and earlier Nintendo consoles?
World's largest functional guitar. Like huge! No you can't play it by yourself. Yes the strings are huge cables that you can't fret. Yes you would have to put it in it's own building. Still doing it. Also gotta make the world's largest, bass, drums, keyboard, and mic stand to make the band complete.
lets say a wizard has cursed you with a lot of money. you are going to become permanently brain damaged simply by being in possession of so much money. the only way out of it is to spend a lot of money on something ridiculous and not at all useful

what would you buy to break the curse?
Whew, finally back home from Japan. Had a blast and it's bittersweet leaving. I was thankful to sleep in my own bed after 30 hours of travel yesterday though. I was ecstatic to see my cats as well. Definitely want to go back sooner rather than later.
I made one specifically for my wife once. She was sick of her iPhone playing the same song every time she plugged into the car so I made a spaceship boot up sequence using her gamertag.
New guitar has the neck off of it and is all packed up for the trip home. Please lend me your energy to ensure it gets from Japan to America undamaged!
This is the haul between 2 days at both Shibuya and Akihabara! Found some fun stuff!
Various gamer and geek Japanese items laid out on a bed.
One of my cats does the same thing. She loves laying in doorways. We call her liminal space Lily.
A striped cat sitting with her back half in one room and her front half in another room. Her front feet are very far apart and it looks silly.
If you post a video not knowing that it's AI, and then it's pointed out to you that it's AI and you leave it up, I'm just straight up blocking you.
Had this as a kid. This is probably how I ended up getting into Eldritch horror.
Must be a translation error. Surely they meant so low leveling. Of course you'd want to get stronger if you're level was so low!
Hey folks! Still in Tokyo and I went to Ochanomizu for a 2nd time and saw something that was both in my budget and that I really enjoyed! That means today is new gear day for me! Say hi to the newest member of the crew!
Some goober (me) holding my new Edwards V shaped guitar!
Love to see a new gear day on the timeline!
Alucard:
Man I would love to give Dracula a good hard kick in the balls
Saw Mt. Fuji today! Also got to ride the shinkansen which was a lot of fun!
Mt. Fuji with fog at the top against a blue sky and evergreen trees in the foreground.
Made it to the Eorzea Cafe today! Honestly the food is ok. The drinks are tasty but the overall vibe is top notch! I got an Estinien themed drink and a massive taco!
A dark colored fizzy drink with Estinien's lance poking out of it. A taco about twice the size of my hand.
My wife and I had Sukiyaki last night for our anniversary dinner. It was delicious! This was my first time trying Waygu beef and it definitely lived up to the hype.
A hot pot of Sukiyaki. Inside the pot are various meats, mushrooms, and assorted vegetables covered in a dark sauce.
My wife and I are in Tokyo for our anniversary and we had Sukiyaki for our anniversary dinner. I was hesitant about the raw egg but I'm so glad we tried it. It was delicious! I would absolutely recommend it to anyone celebrating an anniversary or Birthday in Japan as a special meal.
