At the same time, the opponents’ eyes met, and one look at the wielders’ faces made them both freeze.

"...Tabi?"

The voice croaked through the clashed blades, and she recognized it immediately. Their arms fell quick, almost dropping their sources of life, and two people stared in all but disbelief at one another: the serious, scarred face of a warrior, and the pristine white mask of a clown.

The moment of silent shock between them felt like it lasted eons. The relief she had felt, that they both felt seeing the other's face again, was unlike anything they experienced before in their lifetimes. It’s you, the silence seemed to resonate. I can’t believe it’s you.

But before Tabi could process any of it, she first felt her incredulity subside and turn into annoyance. "I can't believe you left your damn door open."

“You’ll have to forgive me,” Clown uttered quietly. “I wasn’t expecting a visitor.”

In that moment, everything caught up to Tabi. Her pain, her emotions; her exhaustion. She took one step and her legs crumpled beneath her like twigs, and she would have collapsed onto the floor face-first had she not felt two gloved hands catch her before she could. Her vision swam laps around her, to where she could just barely discern what was in front of her as her head lolled upwards—but by the colors of white, black and red, she had a pretty good idea.

"You're hurt," she heard him say. "Here. Open up."

(cont.) Suddenly, she felt sharp fingertips grasp her lower jaw and she instinctively jerked away, but stopped once her teeth bit down on a golden carrot. If she wasn't so tired, she'd verbally complain about being fed—but as soon as she ingested the carrot, the sensation rushed throughout her body and bloomed with newfound vitality, and she forgot all about complaints. Her wounds still hurt, but her sight was becoming clearer and her breathing began to slowly stabilize.

She felt the hand remove itself from her chin. "Thanks," she exhaled.

Nothing was said in response. Instead, her gratitude was followed by a sudden weight squeezing her chest, the closing of an already close distance, and the tight wrap of two arms across her back. An embrace. It hurt, sure... but it was more welcome than anything. Slowly, faintly, she returned it.

"I almost lost faith," Clown's voice rumbled from beside her ear. "You have no idea how glad I am to see you alive."

For the first time in ages, Tabi made a noise that was startlingly close to a soft laugh. "Same to you."

#parkourcivilization #pvpcivilization made a thing for me to differentiate between clownies when i draw them

mono colored sketch of two editions of clownpierce, one from parkour civilization and one from pvp civilization. parkour villain/pkciv!clown is weirdly lanky and standing hunched over, his outfit in various states of tatters. his mask is cracked down the middle and scrunched into an annoyed expression. pvpciv!clown is much cleaner and smiling, holding a large axe by the handle with both hands.

parkour civilization:

- horns taper at the ends
- no smile

somehow it goes through and pkv is essentially on house arrest so he can't go anywhere out of seawatt's place by himself, and races are "permabanned" (not a registered form of parkour anymore, you can do them but there's no effect). and he's forced to put up with seawatt and aj. truly this is hell

folks were floating around the idea of a revival au and i like it so i added my own to it, which is "seawatt also gets pkv revived on the condition that he lives with seawatt and can't battle anyone". this takes a lot of convincing as evbo is worried abt reviving pkv and pkv would rather eat glass
