I love seeing BTS like this bc it comes from a piece of art where you're like "How did he do that??" to watching carefully over the process and going "Ooooooh, so that's how he did that" and unlocking some new knowledge for yourself that makes art seem less impossible

tbh i would love for someone to build an ethical streaming service but for now i’ve just been listening to cds again and putting up with ads on YT since i don’t wanna give them money either…might post some of my cds later tho if anyone is interested in my collection :D

this!! they also pay artists less than pennies per stream and are standing behind running 🧊 recruitment ads despite artist backlash. i would reconsider your subscription if these issues matter to you
