Trump said he'd lower costs "on day one."

Well, here we are a year later, and prices have only gone up.

Instead of making life easier, Trump is imposing a national sales tax on Americans through his tariffs.

His promises were nothing but a con job.

Today's inflation data shows that Trump's cost-of-living crisis continues to hurt Americans.

I'm demanding that his OMB Director, Russell Vought, come to the Budget Committee and explain why they keep making life harder for working-class families.

What is he so afraid of?
"Donald Trump keeps calling the cost-of-living crisis a 'con,' but the real con was his promise to 'lower prices on day one."

One day, the cost-of-living crisis is a “con job.” The next day, he’s flying into Pennsylvania to pretend he’s fixing it.

The real con was his promise to lower prices.

Pennsylvanians know it's all bullshit.

In Trump’s economy, the billionaires always seem to come out just fine.

It’s everyone else who gets stuck with higher prices, less health care, and now fewer jobs.

Hard to call that a success for the American people.
December 3, 2025 at 9:38 PM
Trump will claim that he's brought in $17 trillion — sometimes it's even $18 trillion.

As Lead Democrat on @housebudgetdems.bsky.social, I haven't seen a dime come in, especially not for working families. It's all a con.

The only people benefiting under Trump are billionaires.
"It's no surprise that a billionaire president who has never understood the struggles of working families now calls the cost-of-living crisis he made worse a 'con.'"

Officer Andy Chan’s passing is heartbreaking news for Philadelphia.

We owe an enduring debt to the first responders — and the families — who risk everything to keep our communities safe. My prayers are with his wife, his children, and all who loved him.

It’s December, and Russell Vought is still too scared to face the House Budget Committee.

Too scared to defend policies that raise costs and weaken the labor market.

Every OMB Director for 50 years has been willing to testify. He’s not special. He should show up.
NEW: @congressmanboyle.bsky.social and Budget Committee Democrats are demanding that Russell Vought, architect of Project 2025, immediately testify before the House Budget Committee.

Read the letter to OMB Director Vought:

As your Congressman — and as the Lead Democrat on @housebudgetdems.bsky.social — I’m proud to lead these fights every day to keep the main thing the main thing: ensuring families in Philly and across PA can afford what they need and get the health care they deserve.

Wishing everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

Trump has had a "concept" of a health care plan for 10 years now. But we finally saw his real plan this summer with Republicans’ Big Ugly Law.

He cut health care for millions of Americans and raised premiums for tens of millions more to fund tax breaks for billionaires.

Americans are still feeling the squeeze from Trump’s economic chaos — and this report shows exactly why.

Prices are up, jobs are down, and the so-called “business genius” has our economy marching in the wrong direction.

If the price of food this Thanksgiving is skyrocketing, the solution can't just be for Americans to buy less.

That's insulting.

Americans deserve an economy that is stable and affordable. That starts with putting an end to Trump's economic chaos.
Fox Business: "Remember, if you do want to do another protein like beef, the price is still up. It's about 5 times the price it was last year. So just keep that in mind. Turkey is probably your best bet. Just stick to the one."

Billionaires like the president and his cabinet aren't going to grocery stores, but working Americans are.

They know the truth: Donald Trump is responsible for rising costs.

His disastrous new tariff taxes and economic chaos have only made things worse.
November 24, 2025 at 10:21 PM
A decade later, Donald Trump's attempt to repeal the Affordable Care Act is flailing once again.

Perhaps the president should consider just extending the health care tax credits that are already helping millions afford their care?

Trump is so weak he’s letting Putin push him around, and cutting Ukraine out of its own future.

This “deal” hands Moscow everything it wants. That’s not peace. It’s Trump surrendering to Putin. Pathetic.

The safest bet in Washington is that so-called "moderate" Republicans will always fold to Trump.

They never stand up to him when it counts.

This summer, he asked them to support the biggest health care cuts in American history, and they passed it with glee.

This is a big win for Philadelphia.

New buses will mean more reliable service, a stronger transit system, and cleaner air for thousands of riders who depend on SEPTA.

I was proud to champion the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which helped secure these funds for our city.

When enough people use their voice to resist the Trump administration, working Americans can protect their benefits and win.

This reversal is good news for thousands of Americans who count on Social Security Disability Insurance.
November 20, 2025 at 7:26 PM
There is no place for this kind of violent rhetoric from anyone in our country — let alone the president.

Every elected leader, across party lines, must condemn these threats and stand against political violence.
November 20, 2025 at 6:11 PM
I'm honored to receive this recognition and will keep fighting to build an economy that works for all.
November 19, 2025 at 11:07 PM
No amount of whining about the economy he created will change the fact that his tariff taxes and economic chaos have made life worse for working people.

American families can't afford more of this economic sabotage.
Trump on Jerome Powell: "I'd love to fire his ass. He should be fired. The only thing Scott [Bessent] is blowing it on is the Fed. The rates are too high, Scott. And if you don't get it fixed fast, I'm going to fire your ass."

If Trump were open to releasing the Epstein files, it wouldn't take an act of Congress. He could release them to the public immediately if he wanted to.

I just voted to force Trump to release the Epstein files because the American people deserve to know what he is hiding.

It's not just health care that is getting more expensive under Donald Trump.

Beef, coffee, and other groceries cost more.

Energy bills are going up.

Trump is raising taxes on working families with his tariffs while cutting taxes for billionaires.
November 18, 2025 at 6:19 PM
Russell Vought, the architect of Project 2025, is ducking the Budget Committee because he can't defend the administration's destructive, unpopular record.

The cost of everything from coffee and beef to energy bills and health care is skyrocketing because of Republicans' polices.

It's the honor of my life to represent the people of Philadelphia and the hallowed ground on which our nation was founded.

I'm proud to have delivered an additional $850,000 to improve Independence Mall, totaling nearly $4 million in investments I've brought to the area.
