Folk say "If only they had reached out" or suggest that if you're feeling suicidal to reach out to family or friends or even strangers, but in my experience when I was low/suicidal the sheer ability to reach out was beyond me

May I suggest if someone is pulling back, check they are OK?

I always thought the core of narcissist interaction was the self righteous selfishness.

The reality is blame. Just endless blame. Nothing unfortunate ever happens just by chance, there's always an outside human factor to blame.
