Be the light that casts the shadow forward if you can.
Backwards-facing shadows only help them with their plan.
Tomorrow may be darker, if the bastards get their way
but that's an insufficient reason to let them have today.

You can criticize whoever you want on your own threads. No one owes anyone a debate or an argument.
The idea that every social space must be open to argument at all times is preposterous.
If moderation feels like censorship to you, that says a lot about the way you participate on social media.
If you start a thread, and someone responds in a bothersome way, you can hide their reply without deleting it or blocking them. To them, it looks like their comment gets no engagement, to everyone else the reply doesn't show. It's a nice way to shut down derailments.
"Wiggy" is a word that means "I'm feeling weird, but I know it's because of the substance I've consumed", and implies "I need to change my setting, but communicating is difficult". It's an alternative to attaching those feelings to more important things, and a reminder that the discomfort will fade.
AI chatbots are like masturbation. Kinda fun on your own, but please don't make us watch you do it.
Here's the flip side, showing the other half of the emotional pairs.
I found the feature that changes the angle of the laser's approach each pass.. Whoops, I mean Geno learned Geno Whirl!

This coin is a map of how I see emotions. Each emotional state has its counterpart on the back. We oscillate between each pair (and others), and the combined result is our "now".
Laser Fractal Space Wizard isn't just a silly title. It's also a map of my creative phases. In Laser phases, I'm chasing a specific result. In Fractal phases, I'm exploring possibilities. In Space phases, I'm creating big ideas. In Wizard phases, I'm performing. Phases often overlap.
Hello, laser!
I think it needs a name. Probably something with a prominent G, inherited from its model. Geordi? Gali? Oh! How about Geno? Inspired by my own personal childhood Boba Fett, ♡♪!?.

Hello, Geno!
Laser upgrade!

It took a lot of fractals and a lot of Plotboxes, but I finally saved up enough to get a 30w fiber laser setup I've been eyeing. Soon, even the finest metals will be subject to my photonic ablations through the power of Ytterbium-doped silca fiber. (And a hefty HEPA filter!)

Scientists Finally Reveal Biological Basis of Long COVID Brain Fog.

Patients with brain fog may have disrupted AMPA receptor (AMPAR) expression—key molecules for memory and learning. Imaging of Long COVID patients showed elevated AMPAR density tied to more severe cognitive impairment.
Scientists Finally Reveal Biological Basis of Long COVID Brain Fog

OG Computer Nerds: I need a dedicated key that prevents the console from scrolling so I don't miss a single letter of information. Every computer should come with this by default.

Modern computer users: Ugh I have to actually scroll all the way to the bottom to accept this legally binding contract?

Some products create value through convenience. A spork, for example. Let's come up with silly opposites of that. Fusion products that aren't any more convenient than their constituent products. Like Diaper + Firework, Bicycle Pump + Protractor, or Toothbrush + Dog Collar.
"Structured" fractal art hits this same feeling too. I incorporate structure in my works, but I don't bind myself to strict conformality and I rarely calculate any parameter values. It's a cool skill, but most who do it lose interest in unstructured work. That's not a cost I want to pay.
I feel this way about music pretty often. I hear so many amazing songs that make me feel unique ways. A part of me craves that kind of expression, and perhaps someday I'll give in. But there's a kind of enjoyable innocence that comes with being unequipped to critique.
Ever get that feeling where you encounter a work of art, music, performance, or whatever, and it's so captivating and wonderful that you don't want to learn anything about how it's made because you don't want to be able to see the flaws that people learn to focus on when they're taught how to do it?
After 20+ years of listening to it, I noticed that the first two tracks on the album Signs by Badmarsh and Shri have opposite perspectives. The first implores "You gotta make up your mind to face reality all the time". The second starts with "Run. Free. Reject reality!" Great album regardless.
