The appeal of SIDs are as multitasking songs. Load them, they run in the background. That was the appeal- bringing music to what you were doing (if no addresses overlapped). I don't think this corrects the SID to be more system friendly. It's just a player. I think that's why disregarded it before.

The problem is with MBAM thinking you guys are bad actors, meaning, fewer visitors. Unlike 99.999% of the people, I'm making you aware so you can contact them and get delisted. I didn't think you had malware but false detections drive people away.

This way, your program needs far less "intelligence". Leave it to the user to pick a new CIA interval/frequency for playback. If it doesn't sound right, they can edit that value a bit.

I think the hard part for you will be detecting what inti/player routine does. To get the conversion tool done sooner, maybe leave it to the user to look up the info on DeepSID then they could maybe select from a list of pre-packaged values that equal 25Hz or 2x (on PAL this should end up 100Hz).
