Seems to be a major incident on Highway 1 heading northbound between McKenzie and Helmcken. Looks bad. Didn’t see any cars involved though tons of police, fire, and paramedics responding. Any idea what happened? #yyj

This might be one of the worst accessibility fails I've seen at an intersection! The push button to cross the road is behind a fence. It needs to be on an extender!

Why does the Inland Island Highway not have a cable barrier between Parksville and Courtenay (where it's a grass median)?!
Especially since the speed limit is 110 km/h.

Some signal upgrades at Fort St and Pandora/Oak Bay Ave, including new protected right turns for Fort St! It’s now a much more comfortable crossing, without the Right Turns on Red.

Duncan now has a scramble crossing intersection! It’s just a trial, so it’s not perfect. There aren’t pedestrian signals facing diagonally. But other than that, it’s really nice! They even prohibit right turn on red. I really hope they make this permanent! youtu.be/z_ImqNMdrUg
