Jesus, Mary and Joseph and the wee donkey. It’s only a set of new postcards — TV Crime shows as published by Penguin Books. Pin them on your investigation board or write coded messages on them and send to your associates. Available here: colemandesign.co.uk/shop

I’d like to see a graphic design competition TV show in the same mould as the Pottery Thrown Down and Sewing Bee, and it should be called ‘The Following Contains Graphic Material’.

Congratulations to @johnrivers.bsky.social, @aquatics64.bsky.social, @gasbirder.bsky.social who each win a pack of my TV Crime Penguin Book postcards. Nobody guessed all 15, but I think the first was pretty hard to "crack". Here they all are, and now available to buy: colemandesign.co.uk/shop

WIN a set of postcards of TV crime series as Penguin book covers. Simply guess which series is depicted on each cover. The earliest was broadcast in 1969. All originated on TV (so no Morse, Marple etc). Email [email protected] & I'll pick three from a digital deerstalker. Deadline: 10 Oct.

“Peter Mandelson lost his job for being friends with a paedophile. Donald Trump, who was friends with the same paedophile, was given a state banquet hosted by a King whose brother lost his job because he was friends with the same paedophile.“

And he’s back!!

Sunday isn’t Sunday without Stewart Lee. We were so thrilled at @thenerve.news that Stewart came with us.

His satirical columns for the Observer were some of our most-read content: funny, surreal, angry true. Essential weekend reading.

Another note to say the characters don’t necessarily look like the actors because a) copyright and b) they’re based on the idea of what a designer/illustrator back in the 1960s might have conjured after reading the book, and before they were adapted into TV shows.
