I'm opposed to gatekeeping, but Jesus Christ, sometimes I do miss the days when the Internet was just a bunch of nerds, and we mainly just called each other noobs based on which operating system, text editor etc... that people had chosen.

I've done it with C(++) and the Win32 API. I still prefer that over CSS 😅

I find that on Facebook, Bluesky and Twitter when I used to use it, it's safest to just not mention the s- word at all because they seem to go "HEY! He said the word! He must like the thing!"

I used a large blanket to distract from my face, and I think it's somehow impossible for me to have a photo taken where I don't look like I have at least a trace of a sarcastic smirk.

The only problem with my current photo is that it's not clear whether I'm clothed or not... (I am)
