I have a really deep voice normally. My music instructors always wanted me to join choir because they needed more basses. But then I get sick, and it just goes lower. So I feel awful, but my cats have mistaken me for a dryer because my sick voice rumbles so much more. So y'know. Silver linings.

I moved to Texas ten years ago. I've adapted pretty okay. The accent doesn't give me too much trouble anymore as long as I maintain a conscious effort (or if I'm tired; no coffee = Scottish big cat too eepy to accent), but I'm genuinely starting to think there is no getting used to the heat here.

I've had one or both of my legs fall asleep enough to get pins and needles, and I'm sure others have, too, but have you ever had them fall *so* asleep that when you stand up you can't seem to keep your balance? It's like your leg's trying to buckle under the weight of nothing because it's numb.
