Forget trying to do what you read about as the "right" way to do ritual or approach planetary (or, as I'm thinking about it, certain fixed star) entities

It may be easier or more effective to start by working through your own chart, where possible

The Victoria & Albert museum holds many treasures, one of which is this late antique pair of shoes from Roman Egypt (400-600 CE). 10/10 would wear today (photo is my own).

Dry burial conditions can preserve even organic material, such as the leather from which these remarkable shoes have been made. Only the original colour has faded; perhaps it was purple or red. Lavishly decorated with gold leaf, the shoes would have been expensive.
