Brock Nelson turns 34 tomorrow. He’s seen and experienced a lot in this hockey life.

Getting cut on the ice by someone else’s skate was a new one for him. But it appears he and the #Avs “dodged a bullet” this time.

#Avs Brock Nelson said that was the first time he's been cut by a skate. Said it only needed a couple of stitches, and shouldn't be an issue moving forward.

Rasmus Dahlin just hit Val Nichushkin way before the puck got to him. That's an easy 15-yard penalty in the Bills game tonight.

Landeskog was going at it with Bo Byram after the play. That may have been Byram trying to block the Avs captain from getting to Dahlin.

Sabres fans are mad #Avs weren't called for a puck over the glass penalty.

Avs bench was mad the Sabres got away with a pick on the PP zone entry a few seconds before that. Looked like Jared Bednar had some words for an official on that one.

It's 1-1 after 20 minutes. Avs spent 7:45 in the box.
