"art is inaccessible/artists are gatekeepers" is the biggest self report in the world that whoever is saying it is, at best, buying in to incredibly tedious learned helplessness or, more likely, is just a huge fucking loser.
I don't believe it when anyone tries to say artists are gatekeeping creativity because every artist I know is so generous. Lots of us sharing tutorials, free brushes and assets, share our manus, etc! There's no shortage of info or free tools out there if you're willing to look and learn.

I love when people give characters bird traits they just generally ignore which traits are male or female (ie. males being brighter, etc.) and just go entirely on vibes.
