I had a 4hr written exam this afternoon, so decided to relax afterword by doing a bit of drawing, foolishly forgetting that "writing" and "drawing" use the same muscles

yeah, I can see how it could be really burnout-inducing for some people, but for me doing those was always great for getting me to let go of perfectionism and explore more. The idea that you'd post every day removed so much pressure to get it to a certain state

I'm overall not super satisfied with the current source for my doll patterns (they tend to fit poorly even with modification), but at least these drawstring pants turned out cute on Rose!

having a hobby like this, something hands-on and not involving screens, feels even more essential these days

Bluesky moderation has proven that they cannot identify actual sexual content. I do not trust them to ban only noncon sex And even then noncon deserves to exist with flags. Also the rules about self harm are ridiculous They do not owe anyone to be educational about their experience

although Warrior Cats isn't high art, this was a nice moment of adjustment and character development and reaction to the previous story and topped off by a tense finale. Quite a solid book overall

I had a big presentation at school today and I wore my Adeptus Sororitas necklace for inspiration/good luck

I think it worked, though, the prof seemed pleased at least. And I got to talk about one of my favorite pathogens!
