Oh I’ve missed that one actually! I’ve only seen “Feanor’s hammer might go in there” - I think I do prefer the idea of the crown remaining more or less itself though yeah - kinda emblematic of him taking up Morgoth’s title/role/vibes

Sometimes I pass a post of tumblr where someone is full essay raging about characters I kind of know in a fandom I have tangential knowledge of and I’m like “is this incredibly personal or have I just missed a large piece of drama all these years??” Because it’s impossible to tell anymore

#Tolkientober Day 5: Hope

For this prompt I could only think of the most truly hopeful scene in all Tolkien adaptations for me🖤🤍
