Just learned that Homer “plagerised” “borrowed” or “stole” (a word used twice) verses from at least one woman. Struggling to change my image of the great blind poet-who I revere. Then @emilylhauser.bsky.social gave a radical interpretation of female prophets. Amazing book. Highly recommended.

Every time I read this, I wince. It's painfully true.
On a related note, I just finished reading all 150 submissions during Claret Press's open period (June, July, August) and wrote to each and every one to thank them for submitting. I requested about a dozen full MS to read through.
