Today’s Health & Social Care Committee hearing marked an important moment for gynaecological cancer in Wales.
Two years on from the Unheard report, progress is being made — but too slowly and too unevenly.

Jess's Rule will require GPs in England to "think again" if patients return 3 times with unresolved or worsening symptoms, or without a diagnosis.

We would like to see similar ambition here in Wales, to ensure women are safeguarded and listened to. 💜

📢 The most recent gynaecological cancer waiting time figures (July) show a worrying drop in early-stage diagnoses, now just 32.4%, down from 47% in June. Early diagnosis and timely treatment save lives. This backwards step is not acceptable.
