Was just at a neighborhood school at dismissal. Hundreds of people with whistles surrounding the school and stationed down every block making sure ICE doesn’t snatch anyone. The same is happening at all the schools around here. I love my neighborhood and I love Chicago.

He is 13. A 7th grader w/ a pending asylum case. Being held more than 500 miles from home & housed w/ adults. He called his mom crying, & reported that he’s sleeping on concrete w/ an aluminum blanket.

Guidance is in the shelter bcs his human was evicted. His human says he’s friendly & playful & “beyond smart”

His humans left in tears & Guidance, bewildered & grieving, is having a hard time there. They’re not giving him time to find ❤️ again

Speed Racer, an abandoned dog with no place to go, ended up at the shelter where she licked hands & welcomed the attention

Now, for no reason, they plan to kill this friendly pup who just wants to jump into somebody’s lap, play w/ her toys & get/give some ❤️

Muffin’s adoption fell thru. He’s fearful (not aggressive) but that’s enuf to get killed here

He’s trying to do everything asked of him, follows commands, walks well on leash, is social w/ familiar handlers

What more do they want? He’s a puppy for gods sake!
