When illness felled me and ended my medical career, when I moved to the "other end of the stethoscope" as they say, I realized so many things. The unimaginable value in knowing you've been heard, chief among them. I so wish I could practice again, knowing what I live every day.

BNS just walked by. (I💙BNS) Exchanged greetings. Told him I appreciate him and his coverage etc. He smiled, said thank you. When he was ~25m away, I said, quietly to his back, "Kick Arden in the nuts". He whipped around with a huge grin on his face. 😬

Blue Jays fans'* logic: Arrive early and stand for 5 1/2 hours to try to secure a seat....so they're not standing for the entire game.

*Those around me whose knees I'm staring at as I sit bc I'm not illogical.
