Let there be light 💡 we are grateful to the Mayor’s Office for fixing 25 lights along pelhambaypark including the lights on the Pelham Bay Bridge that have been out for over four years.

More to do, for sure, but significant progress has been made.
I do not believe they intend to remove any stops after construction.

GOOD NEWS for City Island Straphangers! The MTA has advised that the Kilroe Street Bus Stop will be restored in early November!

The stop had been temporarily suspended due to construction at Bridge Park.

The scooters technically do not work in Pelham Bay Park, so its a mystery why so many were left stranded there. In any event, due to member concerns, we did contact @LimeScooters_ who eventually removed them.
#MembersInAction🙌. Thank you to Pell Place neighbors who brought this long abandoned vehicle to our attention. After three weeks, the @NYPD45Pct had it removed last Wednesday!

“The TCU Removal/Playground Redevelopment project experienced some delays due to unforeseen circumstances. I anticipate that the construction will wrap up by mid to late November. If something changes, I will be sure to update you accordingly.”

Our members played a leading role in the Bx29 redesign. According to the MTA, its the fatest line in the Bronx. 🚌

“The Bx29 route taking the only A rating in the borough with an 85.2% on time rate and average speed is about 14 miles per hour.”

I am thrilled that after years of advocacy, my office received word today that our calls for 3PK on City Island have been approved. PS 175 will host this program starting next month!
