today’s information came out piecemeal, and people should be able to share their own situations on their own time, but I could share this much ^ as it is pretty cut and dry on the facts.

Teen Vogue also no longer has any trans staffers as of today.

I never got into the series but I know the plot beats, and you're right that those are some gorgeous visuals! reminds me a bit of Hey Brother for TAZ (which I still can't bring myself to rewatch because of the sad character arc, nearly a decade later 😅)

and every single time I do, I take the "fsck you" to the face, and it hurts, and it serves me right. I would never deny someone I've hurt the right to tell me so to my face. *that* would be unconscionable to me.

yeah, my limit of "allow them to reconsider" ends when it affects someone else 😥 if someone is so lacking in self-control that they can't be bothered to think about it before they hit post, maybe the system should be putting them on a delay or something, like Gmail's "undo send".

okay, wow, that is... not what I would consider acceptable behavior. to me that's "leave a bag of 🔥💩 on the doorstep and run away" levels of unacceptable.

it's clearly not to you, and I generally assume I'm in the minority whenever my views differ, so, uh, I guess we found our disagreement point? 😅

this question goes to @rahaeli.bsky.social too and is genuine. I honestly cannot think of a single scenario in which this easily-detectable behavior has a valid safety use.

I would like to pose you a question. You can think of a lot of good reasons to block someone, as can I.

Can you name even one scenario in which sending someone a notification, and then blocking them before receiving any notification back, is a safety behavior and not a harassment behavior? I can't.

why is a problem only a problem when someone does it more than once, or from more than one account? is there some rule that you're allowed to punch someone in the face, but only as long as you do it once, and you don't get your friends to join in? I'm feeling some extremely mobile goalposts here

all the more cause someone like me experiences a way different bsky than you do 😔 I saw the same on ao3: the behavior is optimized for the most active users, and casual users don't really get a stake.

and I can't even say that's *wrong*. it's just really alienating out here in nobody-cares-land.

yeah, I have never in my life been someone with "reach" lol. I get like 5-10 notifs on a day when people notice me more than usual
