you can read someone who has genuine complaints that can be fixed via a change of perspective potentially but when someone's list of complaints is the core of what something is are two completely different scenarios and one is much less salvageable

that's true but also reading someone who can have that conversation in good faith versus someone saying their gripes are every single aspect of the MMO genre in general coupled with 'i dont like pre-programmed or scripted content' which is just all video games is like i dunno man

i experience posts on the ffxiv subreddit so regularly like 'i dont like ffxiv how do i like it' in such numbers that i never see on my other mmo subreddits or most other game subreddits i browse. it's like a curious microcosm of an issue. not liking certain things is human experience, not a problem
