For too long in Kansas, the Republican Party has been dominated by extremists who see no room for moderation or bipartisanship. I’m running for governor in order to fight for all Kansans. We can’t let them keep spreading their hate and extremism. We need to stop them.

🚨 Yesterday, Politico released a new report showing vile, racist texts from Kansas Young Republican leadership: “They referred to Black people as monkeys and ‘the watermelon people’ and mused about putting their political opponents in gas chambers.” ‼️

Unlike Ty Masterson & Jeff Colyer, I’ve been around the state listening to KS families & hearing the issues that impact them most. Instead of working on the real issues, they are focused on taking more power at the expense of Kansans to push their ideological agenda.

On Monday night I joined a few of my colleagues for a town hall to talk with Kansans about extremists’ plans to redistrict mid-decade and eliminate the only Democrat in Congress from our state. These political games hurt real Kansans, silencing their voices.
