US labor laws should include a provision that once a week you get compensated time to travel within your geographical area to get a hug. I’d just bounce up to the kids’ school and be like ‘aye, it’s dad,’ get my squeeze, and go back to work.
I suspect some people would be nicer if they got hugs.
