The only demographic to reduce their share of the Trump vote in 2024 was black woman. Black voters also saved the US from Trump in 2020. If you're wondering why you don't see more black protesters at No Kings, thank the last 400 years

A lot of the people Trump is deporting are people who came legally and have overstayed or are processing currently. They work construction, childcare, agriculture..........they generally pay taxes and recieve no hand outs. Removing them is inflationary and cruel. But hey ....... Trump

Being inside the US without proper authorization is a civil offense, not a criminal one. The maximum penalty is deportation.

If I had a masked militarized man yelling "get out of the fucking car" and another masked militarized man pulling his pistol out I would be inclined to leave. This event may or may not be murder, but we won't know without an actual investigation. Of course after Trump, no one believes anyone. WTF

It's not surprising that different people view the Mom shooting in Minneapolis differently. What IS surprising is that the FBI is not investigating or allowing Minnesota Officials access to evidence collected. Not a great look America. Who could possibly not want a fair investigation?

I know that US needs to have secure borders. That being said, we do have a lot of space and we can avoid a demographic slump via immigration. Terrifying the population to sequester and remove people here illegally is not the best way to handle this. There are other reasonable means.

When I was a teenager in upstate NY in the mid 70s our Church and community sponsored a family from Laos. We helped teach them English and we spent time together. They blessed us probably more than we them. It was not a burden. Looking back, we helped them become American.
