I have a problem in that I assume that people agree to basic ideas like:
"You have a moral responsibility to disobey an unjust law, specially if it hurts people"
and
"The prison system's very existence is the best argument as to why no one deserves to be arrested."
Law isn't a necessary evil.

Sometimes I think about how we view infantilization as synonymous with removing someone's personhood. Treating someone like they're young is universally seen as being "condescending".
I don't know how people don't see it; they're own injustices and prejudice reflected right back at them.

pushing past someone's boundaries, refusing to stop when they say no, treating anyone like this without consent (youth or otherwise) is wrong. this isnt someone who messed up, this is someone who clearly doesn't care he's hurting people because he sees them as disposable

Reading about him made me realize just how familiar his struggle felt. Homosexuals were surrounded by a culture that told them they were disordered, with no real allies.
