We are so sad to hear that Dave Ball, the keyboard genius of Soft Cell, has died. He was an electronic pop pioneer and with Marc Almond made a unique catalogue of songs, completely original in sound and content. Our love and condolences go to Marc and all those close to Dave. Neil and Chris xx

His Diabelli/People United next year at Carnegie Hall is the concert I'm most looking forward to this season!
Oh, by the way, if you do web stuff and haven't checked out 11ty yet, it's fantastic!

Platner actually says in the clip something like "I've been out in public with this tattoo at the beach, at pools, at locker rooms, and nobody's ever called me a Nazi."

How is the next sentence not "And now I can't stop thinking about all the people who I scared and made feel unsafe."
Yeah, being ex-blackwater was enough for me.

For some reason, this reminds me of the time Eric Alper blocked me on twitter. I posted a #LesserAlper that was “Name a song that has chords in it!”
I used to like to go to Pick-a-Bagel, not because it had great bagels, but because it was on the corner of Jerry Orbach Way.

Also, I’d pass the Ed Sullivan Theatre’s stage door on the walk back to the office; you never knew who you‘d see hanging out there.
