It's always fun to yell at #UCIHealth about their incompetent administrative staff. Who in their right mind would send you an email to do a survey about a recent visit and then call you the next day (and on a Saturday) because you are busy to do the survey. Told them it's borderline on harassment

That's why you move to NYC where they don't say hi, ask you about yourself, just check all your stuff out and tell you to get out of their face - done quickly and efficiently without the machine in the way that obvioulsy haven't tested by their IT people or the store.

BREAKING: Trump says he is designating “Antifa” as a “major terrorist organization.”

Such a step being taken this way would be concerning enough, given what it actually is, but, given that Trump sees “Antifa” hiding in every corner of opposition, this could be an extremely alarming escalation.

Respectfully disagree: 1) in fact it is unusual for a democracy w/ this level of GDP to turn authoritarian & so quickly; 2) the weakness of both institutions (congress & courts) and individuals (Schumer etc) is shocking. Would take less than 10 people in congress or 2 SC justices to stop all this.

What America is going through is not unusual in historical terms. Plenty of examples like it today elsewhere in the world.
What makes it unusual is the rapid collapse from a set of widely espoused norms and values that centered on liberty. It is the sacking of the shining city on hill that shocks.
