Does anybody else kinda miss animated profile pictures? I used to create little animated icons as commissions back on Deviantart and, for my own, I would even sneak in little details, like a Halloween version. It was a lot of fun and I wonder why that's not a thing elsewhere.

Pirates! My boyfriend and I have been playing a lot of Sea of Thieves lately and I absolutely love the game! Couldn't help but draw three of my comic characters in this setting ✨

Three characters on a tiny island dressed as pirates. One is looking into the distance using a spyglass, the second is on his knees, discovering treasure and the third is looking back, seeing that their ship has been sunk by another ship, while they weren't paying attention. They are not humans, but "auram", a fantasy species of mine with animalistic facial features. The style is cartoony and the colors are vibrant.

May I introduce you to the two newest characters living rent free in my head? His name is Robin and her name is Marie.
I'm not 100% sure where Marie will be placed in the story yet, but Robin straight up replaced another character.

Hmm back in the day I used to make animated icons with gimp. It basically requires frame by frame animation. I believe that still works, but I'm sure there must be better programs nowadays
